OFFICE VOLUNTEER
There are many opportunities to volunteer at our Habitat office.
With helping hands like you we are able to maintain our facility and complete more tasks! If you have a few hours to spare, we would love to have you! See the list below of ways you can volunteer at our office:
LAWN CARE:
We have a few lots around town that we have to maintain and keep mowed. We also have the lawn at the office that needs to be mowed and weeded. (Must be 18 or older to run lawn equipment)
PROJECTS:
We are updating our facility right now so we have painting, organizing and cleaning up that needs some extra hands.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH:
We have a variety of ways that we need to reach out to the community: donations for events, adding volunteers, and distributing flyers or brochures about Amarillo Habitat. This helps us in sharing our mission with the people of Amarillo.
16 is the minimum age requirement for volunteering at the Habitat office. This is a Habitat International regulation. Volunteers under the age of 18 must complete a waiver of liability form that must be co-signed by a parent or guardian.
All volunteers are required to fill out a waiver before working at the office. Please click the icon to fill out the waiver.
